Warriors Pearl Foundation: Helping Homeless Female Military Veterans

From Denny:  Writing so much on politics and news sure can spur a person to action.  There are over 5,000 homeless female military veterans here in America.  Many are on the streets because they were raped while serving in the military.

The Pentagon rarely takes the rapists to task, demotes or prosecutes them.  Women wait for decades hoping for justice.  Many are so traumatized, some by military gang rape, they are suffering from PTSD.  They end up in to drugs and prostitution.  It's time to bring them home.

There are also over 100,000 homeless male military veterans from many wars, Vietnam to Iraq to Afghanistan. They too are suffering from PTSD and need our help.  Getting the national politicians to actually care and then do something significant to help our wounded warriors is a monumental effort.

I'm fed up with waiting for Congress and this President to do the right thing.  My call to action was to begin the funding process for this new foundation:  Warriors Pearl Foundation.  I've started a new store up on Cafe Press Denny Lyon Gifts to sell T-shirts and other products.  The images are my own photography and art work combined with interesting insightful quotes.  I'll be adding to the product list, so be sure to check back often.

Also, have a $3 donation button up on all the 22 blogs.  The proceeds, like from the Denny Lyon Gifts, will all go to the Warriors Pearl Foundation.  Thank you for your support and hope you enjoy the goodies!
