A Truth Journal: September 11th, Terrorism 13 Years Later: What Have The Saudis Done To Prevent Another?: From Denny:  While the somber ceremonies at the White House and across the nation remember the horrific terrorism of the day now known as "9/11" perhaps it's time to take a penetrating look at the center of this terrorism:  Saudi Arabia and the Arab League.  For the past 13 years it's astounding to note that neither the U. S. government or the world media have taken Saudi Arabia and other Arab League nations to task for fomenting and financing this global terrorism.

Saudi Arabia in particular, as well as their neighbors, have consistently offered excuses and deflected criticism for the last 13 years, claiming no real responsibility cultural, politically or religiously.  It is in their national self-interest to stomp out terrorism yet they continue to finance and arm these marauding groups like ISIL and al-Qaeda.  The Saudis are notorious for making grandiose promises they never keep.  The Saudis are well versed in telling the West what we want to hear yet never - ever - deliver substantially...

Dennys Global Politics: President Obama Address To The Nation: Destruction of ISIL With Global Coalition: From Denny:  In the next few days a lot of my fellow media are going to dissect - and seriously distort - what this President said here tonight.  Here it is in its entirety, unedited, as released from the White House.  Too much of what our government does or doesn't do gets lost in meaningless debate over skewed opinions rather than the facts on all the talk shows.

Not everyone has the time to sit down and watch the President's speech to the nation late at night when our brains are too tired to take it all in.  Which is why I've taken to putting up the various speeches, statements, executive orders and press briefings' transcripts so the public can easily view the raging debates from the beginning before the distortions start their rumor mills' journey to grab a hold of people's emotions.

Here, the President finally outlines his four part strategy for which he has been so soundly criticized as not having formulated soon enough.  Like lots of people have been mentioning, "Hey, if he doesn't have a strategy yet you sure don't announce it to the press you don't have one.  That misstep started a firestorm.  Tell everyone you are in the process of finalizing said strategy as you create a coalition of partners in this terrorism fight."

Well, this President never was adept at political or visual optics.  At least he and his team finally have nailed down some clarity on this ISIL issue so the nation and the global community know what to do next.  This speech is a good update on what other nations are doing as their part in this coalition.  I chose to bold the text that was most significant.  Take a look at the speech:

A Truth Journal: Ukraine Crisis: Has Clueless German Merkel Sold Out European Security to Military Aggressor Russian Putin?: From Denny:  Looks like Germany's Merkel is done politically on the world stage.  Her Russia Policy has most definitely failed.  She is dancing a very slow implosion but an implosion none the less.  Her word apparently means nothing on the world stage any more.  She makes these pronouncements and then backs off, never following through with any tough action, just tough talk that falls like a thud onto the international political floor.  Clearly, Merkel's Russia policy does not reflect the German people's opinion.

Has Merkel foolishly sold out to Putin, deciding in private talks to allow him to take Ukraine - and eventually as much of Europe as he wants?  Is this the beginning of the end of the European Union?  The UK is ready to bolt - and it's probably a good idea if they do - with Germany calling so many bad political decisions in a row.  Has Germany sold out, because as the fourth recognized largest economic power in the world, has taken the political lead and fumbled the football one too many times?  Is Merkel as ready for the world stage as she thought she was, ignoring domestic issues?  Should Merkel be kicked out of power for risking the global security and the European countries' sovereignty?...

A Truth Journal:  Where Is MIA Obama ISIS Strategy? How Do Misleading News Producers Impose Perceptions?  From Denny:  You sure can tell this is the mean political season.  Republican strategists sure don't mind how reckless are their strategies if they can get in a barrage of attacks against President Obama and the Democrats just to score points with their rabid base.  Nothing infuriates me more than cavalier politics - no matter which political party, geared to win no matter the costs to someone else's family: especiallyhostages held and tortured by terrorist groups like ISIS.

The Republicans and the No Brain Media (think:  Fox News and mainstream media that report what Fox is saying not realizing how bad they look to the public) just don't stop and think about the consequences of their actions.  We can definitely blame a lot of what is going on in the mainstream media news shows on immature, cavalier, downright intellectually and emotionally tone deaf news producers who are clueless as to what the public wants to know and how to deliver it.  Real journalists should complain and start demanding better quality content...

WASHINGTON, DC —In this week’s address, the President wished Americans a Happy Labor Day weekend, highlighted the important economic progress we’ve made, and reaffirmed his commitment to accelerate our progress and ensure that our growing economy fuels a strong middle class. To do this, the President reiterated that Congress should do right by hardworking Americans across the country and raise the minimum wage and he praised the 13 states and Washington, DC as well as employers large and small who have heeded his call and taken action to provide their citizens and employees a fair wage. A Truth Journal: Note to White House: Quit Killing Future U.S. Hostages: From Denny:  Well, the Ferguson "Race Riots" were originally on my posting agenda but the military is fussing and cussing so vociferously about President Obama taking a victory lap and exposing details on the failed hostage rescue yet again this post took precedence.

What is the matter with the political hacks of this Obama White House?  Are they so depraved they don't realize how many people they have now condemned to death all because they wanted to prop up the President's sagging poll numbers?  Is their reasoning "it's better to look like the President is doing something and failed at the ISIL hostage rescue than to be perceived as doing nothing?"

And this is why after winning a second term every President needs to send home his political team and get a real team that is serious about proper governing.  You just can't take political people and transform them into governing people.  Why?  Because when the political heat is on they revert to their default programming...
