A Truth Journal: Russia: What Is Putin REALLY Doing in Syria?: From Denny:  You know when Putin is desperate for money - and for international cover - when he comes to the U. S. acting like he is bosom pals with President Obama.  Of course, the real reason he was meeting with Obama - after two years of absence because he was pouting - was to see if Obama was clueless as to what Putin was about to do in Syria.  Putin was satisfied that Obama was indeed unaware and easily fooled.

Putin took that as a sign he could pee on Obama and so he did.  Well, that was stupid because Obama does not forget or forgive easily.  It might take Obama some time for retaliation but he will do something Putin will really fear.

As to Syria you really have to wonder where the hell is the Arab League in this terrorism-civil war drama?  Why is it the Middle East expects and blames the U. S. and the EU for not doing enough to stop Russia?  Seriously?  Why are the Middle Eastern countries not doing enough to stop Russia and IS?  It's their back yard.  Why don't the Middle East countries devise their own no-fly zone?  Why should it be the U. S. and the EU to do their job?  "Da ya think?" it has something to do with Middle East wars are money pits with no good outcome seen for decades?

Just because Putin has recently met with the EU countries about Ukraine doesn't mean a thing.  France and Germany and others seem to be convinced of a deadly strategy:  Let's cater to a psychopathic dictator and not complain about what Putin is doing in Syria at this conference. We will complain outside of this Ukraine conference as France did.  Seriously?  Putin sees the EU as weak and easy to manipulate, a psychopath's dream... A Truth Journal: Russia: What Is Putin REALLY Doing in Syria?

A Truth Journal: Ukraine Crisis: Has Clueless German Merkel Sold Out European Security to Military Aggressor Russian Putin?: From Denny:  Looks like Germany's Merkel is done politically on the world stage.  Her Russia Policy has most definitely failed.  She is dancing a very slow implosion but an implosion none the less.  Her word apparently means nothing on the world stage any more.  She makes these pronouncements and then backs off, never following through with any tough action, just tough talk that falls like a thud onto the international political floor.  Clearly, Merkel's Russia policy does not reflect the German people's opinion.

Has Merkel foolishly sold out to Putin, deciding in private talks to allow him to take Ukraine - and eventually as much of Europe as he wants?  Is this the beginning of the end of the European Union?  The UK is ready to bolt - and it's probably a good idea if they do - with Germany calling so many bad political decisions in a row.  Has Germany sold out, because as the fourth recognized largest economic power in the world, has taken the political lead and fumbled the football one too many times?  Is Merkel as ready for the world stage as she thought she was, ignoring domestic issues?  Should Merkel be kicked out of power for risking the global security and the European countries' sovereignty?...

A Truth Journal: A Russian Tale: Putin Kills Children, Without Regret World Powers Still Do Business With Russia: From Denny:  With the intentional shooting down of the mainly medical civilians on that Malaysian MH-17 jet by Russian military and Russian militia who targeted a civilian jet inside Ukraine's borders, they willfully killed 298 people, including many children.  The Russian President Putin, the Russian military, the Russian "diplomats," the Russian business sector, the Russian "militia" trained and commanded by Russian military, the Russian media are all in lock step proclaiming how good it is to kill civilians flying far above the designated war arena air space.  The Malaysian jet was flying at 33,000 feet, a good 1,000 feet above the 32,000 no fly zone.  To hear the Russians tell it everyone else, most especially Ukraine, is responsible for those deaths, not despicable Russia.

What about the words "decency" and "common sense" and "sanity" don't they understand?  Russia's tactic is if they lie long enough that eventually everyone will give in and accept the lies.  Well, that sure isn't working well, judging by the growing international furious anger at Russia.  Even the Russian people are horrified and rightfully embarrassed at the despicable behavior of their government officials.

A Truth Journal: Ukraine: Time To Label Russia A Rogue State and Beef Up NATO?:
From Denny:  While Putin plays Liars Poker with the world, losing miserably, it's time for the world to move past this dead leader walking.  It's only a matter of time before he is assassinated or removed from office.

Meanwhile, the rest of us need to decide how we will handle rogue actions like this seizing of sovereign territory as Putin has done in Crimea.

He has his eye on the rest of the Ukraine, hoping to take it in big chunks: the first easy plucking was Crimea as he knew most Russians back home would not oppose him.  Next he is moving to take Eastern Ukraine where there are ethnic Russians in residence as they are in Crimea.  After that he plans to take back the rest of Ukraine just for general principle and a fun military exercise...

A Truth Journal: Kudos Watch: First Step Iran Nuke Deal A Win For ALL: From Denny:  Israel is not in charge of America.  So, zip it, Israeli PM Netanyahu.  Entitled to his opinion?  Sure.  Not entitled to lobby Congress and bully this President to get the legislation Israel wants instead of what the American people expect.

Sec. of State Kerry has done a marvelous job of steering the negotiations between the United States and Iran just to get the two countries to engage in this first step toward thawing a deep freezer cold relationship.
