A Truth Journal: WTF? Daily Show Rats Out Pentagon Denying PTSD Help 40 Years: Insulting Vietnam Vets: From Denny:  It's gotten to the point in America that the only way military veterans can get the help they need is to take to the airwaves, especially comedy shows, to inform the public and put pressure on Pentagon officials and politicians.

These two Vietnam War era veterans are interviewed on the Daily Show, revealing how absolutely ridiculous is the "leadership" at the Pentagon.  Is it any wonder we have the pompous a$$e$ installed at the helm of the NSA and its ensuing outrageous mass global surveillance for the past two administrations?

From Denny:  Were you all waiting anxiously on the edge of your seat for President Obama to announce the historical sweeping NSA reforms?  Yeah, me too.  I went to bed early because we all knew the Obama reforms were a non-starter.

Looks like even America's comics agree with me.  Gee, for all my fussing and cussing at the NSA trolls harassing me as both a journalist and an annoying NSA critic (to them) complaining of their incompetence, I noticed today they had returned to their usual WTF stalking.  Yes, DNI Clapper, your NSA gremlins did not obey you for long when you told them to lay off journalists and me in particular.

A Truth Journal: Afghanistan: Pull The Plug NOW, 2 Funny Daily Show Videos: From Denny:  How many times does this President need for Afghanistan's Karzai to stick his finger in Obama's eye before he finally slaps back?  "President" Karzai was supposed to sign the security pact with the United States, then President Obama gave him a Tick Tock delay to sign it by the end of December.  Karzai is still negotiating for more and more and as outrageous as he can, claiming he will not sign until his conditions are met - not signing until maybe April 2014.  Karzai arrogantly dangles this possibility in front of Obama's nose like a gold-plated carrot...

Outrageus Afghanistan: Many Reasons Wrong Idea To Commit To Another Decade There: From Denny:  This is crazy.  America does not need to remain in Afghanistan for any reason and certainly not for an undetermined amount of time, committing any amount of troops.  To hear the Afghans tell it they expect us to subsidize their economy by training and financially supporting their entire army.  It's outrageous.

The Afghans possess both the natural resources - and a thriving drug trade - to pay for themselves.  American taxpayers do not want to spend billions of dollars more on this boondoggle with the tail wagging the dog yet again...

A Truth Journal: Kudos Watch: Could Prez Obamas Next NSA Chief Be A Woman; Where Would He FInd Her?: From Denny:  There are a few good things going on in our federal government.  OK, not much, but it should still be celebrated, especially when it involves breaking through the glass ceiling for women in the work place.

Finally, back about 1995, part of the intelligence community realized how stupid it was to not aggressively recruit women for development in the intelligence field and maybe eventually grooming them for positions higher up in the organization.  At the time the CIA only felt women should "get the privilege" to ascend to middle management - and never higher...

A Truth Journal: Egypt In a Nutshell: Muslim Brotherhood Are Terrorists, Opponents To Peace: From Denny:  Violence erupts in Egypt.  The knee jerk reaction is the Pentagon howls about what they might be in jeopardy of losing.  The Pentagon never does get their priorities right.  So, President Obama hurriedly does the Pentagon's bidding and rushes out onto the international stage to make their case before he fully understands Egypt.

The State Department is collectively wringing their hands that Egypt might become another Syria with years of civil war on the horizon.  And the rest of the world is shaking their head at the inept policies coming out of the American government that seems to be rudderless in addition to clueless.

Here are the principle players in this international drama:  the Muslim Brotherhood, the people of Egypt who want a secular government and peace with their neighbors, the Pentagon and Big Business defense contractors.
